TUCSON – Boomer, Martha McSally’s three-year old Golden Retriever, today makes his TV commercial debut in the McSally Campaign’s latest ad. The light-hearted spot highlights Martha McSally’s commitment to getting results for her constituents, as well as a bit of Boomer’s trademark penchant for mischief.
“A little over two years ago, I welcomed Boomer into my home and my heart,” said Congresswoman McSally. “At the time, he was a rescue Golden Retriever looking for a good home. Now, he is my unending source of comfort and love. After a long day, or long week, he never fails to meet me with an eager smile and sloppy kiss. We’ll often go on early morning runs through the desert, and he helps me get ready to fight for the priorities of Southern Arizonans.”

While today marks his TV debut, Boomer is a regular on social media, where he can be seen joining Rep. McSally at events or just being himself.
(MARTHA McSALLY) They say if you want a friend in Washington, get a dog.
Well, meet my friend, Boomer.

As for the folks in D.C., let’s just say we have our differences.
Like when I stopped President Obama from retiring the A-10.
Or when I took on my own party to fight for equal pay for women.
I’m Martha McSally and I approve this message because I’m not in Congress to make friends, I’m there to get results for you.
